Here we Go!

It's been a long wait to get started, but everything is coming together now. Digging started on Monday March 13 as scheduled. Yeah!

The foundation guys didn't let the blowing snow stop them and Bill was right in there stomping around in the mud and putting up the barrier fence by the neighbour's house. It's exciting to see exactly where the house will sit. A bonus is we have lots of lovely rich topsoil for grading.

So why the sunset theme you may ask. Well the header is a stylized version of the view we will have from our front porch. And since we are in our "sunset" years the left image just seemed appropriate. I'm just getting started on this, so the links aren't ready and I probably will be making web design changes as I go along. FJB
